Sicily’s Mt. Etna

Just imagine feeling Mother Earth’s raw power surging through your body as you walk up the lava landscape of Silvestri Crater on Sicily’s Mt. Etna. Moments later, as you settle into meditation, you think, “Wow, what an incredibly awesome spot to practice!”

Because the healing power of this sacred mountain feels wonderful, you wish you could remain here long after we return home to our villa at the end of the day.

Later that day but still on the volcano, you practice yoga totally secluded from everything but the lava landscape. As your body moves on the rugged earth, you feel the wildness of the amazing terrain.
You can understand why it is called Europe’s Natural Wonder. As you travel back to the villa, you remember the feelings of reverence and spirituality you found on the volcano.
