I am the mother of two sons and the grandmother of two very witty grandchildren.  My professional career was as the Manager of Payroll for a major east-coast railroad.

I retired early and moved from the New York Metropolitan area to Tucson, Arizona.  After my retirement, I walked the 500-mile Camino Francés, one of the three major pilgrimage routes in Europe. 

I walked alone.  While walking, I  was living life without having to attach any hopes or dreams to another human being.

On that walk, I realized my dependence on others always prevented my inner strengths from shining through. The Camino was a very inspirational and spiritual experience for me.

After returning from the pilgrimage; I was contacted by American Pilgrims on the Camino to form a Chapter in Tucson. Although unsure, I formed the Old Pueblo Chapter of APOC and led it until 2016. This successful Chapter is ongoing in its support of pilgrims.

Because travel has always been a passion of mine, I created Choose Happiness Adventures and led CHA’s first group of 17 people on a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela,

Since then, I have led people on pilgrimages every year. To date, I’ve completed 14 Caminos on various routes.

Since I have been a devotee of Yoga and healthy living for most of my life, I recognized the need to bring yoga to the walking tours. Because of this decision, I became a 500-hour Certified Hatha Yoga instructor and a Chopra Certified Meditation Instructor.  I hold additional certifications in Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga for Healthy Aging, Rewind Gold Yoga, Chair Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Pranayama Instructor.  I also am a Certified Mindfulness and Mindful Eating Instructor.

In 2017, CHA’s first spiritual yoga retreat was offered. During these retreats, the team and I teach yoga and meditation and always include travel to the local historic sights.

I call myself a “foodie” and therefore, CHA’s walking tours (ChooseHappinessAdventures.com) and retreats always feature great local cuisine and wine.

Diana is a practicing Esthetician. Searching for peace and joint pain relief Diana discovered yoga while raising two daughters and a son.  As a longtime devotee of yoga and meditation, she attended many yoga classes, retreats, and workshops where she discovered the joy and power of yoga. Diana was instantly amazed by the way yoga healed her from within. She was especially drawn to the body/mind/spirit connection that yoga provides. Within no time, she was a daily practitioner and believer.

 Since then, Diana has completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification, became Yin certified and is also certified in Reiki Level 1 and Level 2. She is also a crystal enthusiast and runs Women Empowerment Circles.

Diana believes in creating a loving, empowering yoga environment for her students. Her goal is to help her students recognize and develop their inner light, confidence, and peace along with self-worth.
 
Diana enjoys living near the seashore, teaching, paddle boarding, traveling, hiking, and spending time with her children, friends, and family while continuing her lifelong journey toward living a mindful, meaningful life. ॐ
